UPDATE!!!!!

Okay guys! So, I'm still alive, don't worry!
I've been having sch a good time here in Catania, sometimes I forget to post... Whoops!

And WHOA! Those pictures are really scaring me because I know they aren't the worst ones!
HAhahaha...

Pleaseignore any and all typos or grammar errors... I don't feel like perfectingmy English just yet...
----

So, again the school went kayaking again... it was absoolutely WONDERFUL!
And one thing I forgotto mention... MY DAD SURPRISED ME BIG TIME HERE... yea.

I was walking up the street with Marcelo and Wolf when I saw him standing new the Hostel... WHOA!
I was so shocked I punched him in the arm and yelled "WHAT!!!!!!!!"
Amazing. He stayed here fr about a week and then headed back to Rome. Good times good times!
Other things in the news:
Marcelo left today, he's taking another vacation in Poland before heading to Las Vegas and then back to Brazil...
Wolf leaves tomorrow for Austria... Sad, sad, sad.
Daniele and Emilio left this morning for a vacation in France.
So it's only Wolf and I now... and some new girls that are prettymuch all from Poland (Barbara) and one from Hungary (Antonia).

Tonight we're having a type of painting class at school. Fun stuff, I think the artist just arrived and it sitting on the couch overthere, but i couldbe very wrong about that.
---

OH! Another note: the food here is WAYYY too good... Thank god I have to climb over 80 (literally, I counted) steps to get into my apartment and then 30 more to my room or elseI would be gaining some SERIOUS weight!!!!

I hope everyone is enjoying those pictures... And I wasn't getting my groove on!!! Sheesh! .........

What else... what else... This will probably be my last post until I get back home because I leave on Monday realllly early in the morning... My plane leaves at some ungodly hour.

>Tomorrow Iam headed to Siracusa with Antonia, and on Sunday (maybe a post then, I dunno) I'm haning around Catania because it will be my last day here.

---So, Francesco (guy that works at Cafè Duomo) said he's coming to NJ with me. I can't let it happen because I think he wouldget into too mch trouble there. Scary thought.

Anyhow... everyone needs to visit Catania, mostly because it's wonderful in every way.

Baci!

Kayaking---

The other day we all went kayaking on the Med... It was BEAUTIFUL!
We went around these islands (placed there by a giant, I'm told.)

Anyway, the water was so clear. Cliff diving... Swimming... boating... you name it- it was there.

I also learned the word for JELLYFISH! ...It's medusa... incase someone ever yells this word at you... GET OUT OF THE WATER! Yikes.

Coffee Lessons...

Haha, Sorry the pics were not satisfactory, Beebo!

--Hey! Who left that gypsy-fox comment!??? Haha, it made me laugh.

NEWS...
Last night Wolf, Marcelo, Emilio, Bernetta (GIRL!!!!), Angela (GIRL!!!!!), and myself went to this live music thing... It was so ridiculously funny. They were covering older American music. It was great.
I think every single old person in the town came out to dance. (When I say OLD... I mean it because sometimes the old people don't look old... so when they DO... well, you can imagine.)
Here is some of what they were playing:
"I feel good! nanananananana" ....Oh the singalongs.

After that we left for another place but I was feeling too tired to dig it so I ended up leaving home early... but unfortunatley some freak of nature locked the corridor door... Not a big deal seeing as I've got the key-- Wouldn't have been a big deal if they key WORKED! Gosh... it ended up breaking off in the keyhole... Wonderful, yea?
So then Daniele made like 10 thousand calls and I ended up sleeping in one of Emilio's vacant apartments on the other side of town vicino HIS bed and breakfast.
Good times, good times.
SO! This morning...

School went well. yesterday's class was on Coffee (The culture portion)... go figure.
Today it was good food. Went to a cafè with Alice (teacher) and got some granita fragola... similar to strawberry water ice. It's an extremely popular breakfast food.
After lessons I went home to find the door FIXED! Woohoo!!!! I slept a bit and then walked over here to use the net because I had nothing better to do...

If there's no one to talk to at any moment in time, I enjoy coming to Daniele's Bed and Breakfast to chat with some locals... Hahaha-- Totally NOT something I'd do at home, and YES- When I think about how I'm being a feel like a BIG GEEK. ...but that's alright I suppose.

Okay so, that's it I think... Oh boun Compleano, Wolf! Woohoo!

I'm going to see if Renee has any more pictures up and I'll post 'em.

Once upon a time "In Italia...."

So... I'm loving all these comments, seriously.

The pictures! Well... I'm workin' on that, believe me.

Here are some my friend has up...

Where I use the interenet

Piazza Duomo

Things they love to eat in Catania... Horse.

(And just for your information... yes, it's gross... Sweet.)

Random bulding in town

If I ever get lost... I just look around for this... Can't miss it.

Okay well....
I got to school this morning bright and early (by Italian standards...)
finished up with that and I think that at 18.30 I have a cooking thing to go to followed by a movie and probably a "discotech" ....Yea. or maybe even a "Cool-V.I.P.-party"

Anyhow--- At the moment I'm living totally by myself... I have no idea where the house mate Daniele went but I have seen him since yesterday morning.

I went to this place last night... some random dance place, with the crew (Emilio, MArcello, Wolf, etc.) and it was totally wild. (I was extremely shocked to find Daniele NOT there.)
Afterwards I went with Gaetano and his girlfriend Alessandra to go get some food... Got home sometime this morning...

I feel like almost everyday has been like this since Renee went back home to Australia...
Alright I best be off to change it up and go cooking so...

KEEP THE COMMENTS ROLLING!

P.S. my Italian is improving... a lot.

A lazzzy day in Catania... Sortof.

Hey there!
This is the first day I've had a free moment to even breath!!!
These Italians are crazy, you know. It's like partying is there job so I'm always trying to find a way to chill out a bit and find some internet.
Not much is new here I guess... I've met TONS of people!
Guiseppe, Alessandro, Paolo, Wolf, Marcello... etc etc.
The cool thing is... I've spent virtually NO money food... Yea, it's a blessing.
I havenàt had to get more money out of the bank of anything because Italians are fond of buying me food... lots and lots of food... all of the time.

Other things that are new... Hmm.
Daniele has let up quite a bit. He's not trying to keep me locked up or anything now. Hahaha.
--Also, I have a pretty good grasp on the town now. I can get just about anywhere via bus or foot.

They have this grand fish market almost every morning in piazza Duomo; it's super cool.

Greg-- I'm working on those pictures... Hahaha. No worries.

You all should be jealous of this food... it's absolutely delicious.

Gotta hit the road!

The stories uùare just getting better.

First day of Rome/Catania...

ALRIGHT Y'ALL!

So... I've gotten lost already. Yes, yes. Not in Rome but right outside of the Catania airport.
I was told to find this bus of sorts... So I found this old guy instead. Tried talking to him a bit; I didn't really get that far with the talking honestly.
So, he ended up just telling me to get on his bus... I tried fighting him on this one so he took me to talk to this English speaking woman and yes... ended up getting on the bus.
Stupid? Probably.
Anyhow! I got to this secret location of sorts just fine. Talked to this Daniele person who I've never seen in my life and located him at a McDonald's some ways away.
My place is actually pretty sweet. People are great. I love it mostly.
It won't however, be the last time I get lost, I can assure you all.

So, it is absolutely gorgeous. Everything is beautiful. I walked around with someone who lives in the apartment (Australian) and got some coffee (Sorry Mugs). Definitely decent.

=====
The plane ride was fascinating. I sat next to this guy who went to Temple Law.
Then I moved next to this guy who's an opera singer. He was pretty interesting.
He left home when he was eighteen and never moved back. Now he's just traveling the world getting paid to sing. How beautiful.

I'm beat and out (currently sitting at a bed and breakfast on this computer... hopfully I'll be able to get used to the new keyboard situation. )

There's more to come.
